Örömmel jelentjük be, hogy 2026. május 5. és 8. között a Bükk-vidék UNESCO Globális Geopark ad otthont a visegrádi országok (V4) geoparkjai éves találkozójának.

Bükki Nemzeti Park Igazgatóság és a Magyar Nemzeti Geopark Bizottság munkatársai jelenleg is szorgosan dolgoznak a találkozó részletes programjának összeállításán.

találkozó során izgalmas programokkal készülünk:

• Lesz egy egész napos szakmai műhelymunka és konferencia.
• Készülünk egy egész napos terepbejárással is, ahol bemutatjuk a Bükk-vidék változatos táji adottságait, egyedülálló geológiai értékeit és geoörökségét.
• Kiemelt figyelmet fordítunk a helyi termékek és kézműves hagyományok megismertetésére is.

A szervezőcsapat már alig várja, hogy májusban minél több hazai és nemzetközi kollégát köszönthessen a Bükk-vidéken!

Preparations are in full swing for the 2026 V4 Geopark Meeting!

We are pleased to announce that between May 5 and 8, 2026, the Bükk Region UNESCO Global Geopark will host the annual meeting of the geoparks of the Visegrád (V4) countries.

The staff of the Bükk National Park Directorate and the Hungarian National Geoparks Committee are currently working diligently on putting together the detailed program for the meeting.

We are preparing exciting programs for the event:

• There will be a full-day expert workshop and conference.
• We are also preparing a full-day field trip, where we will showcase the diverse landscape features, unique geological values, and geoheritage of the Bükk Region.
• We are paying special attention to introducing local products and craft traditions.

The organizing team is looking forward to welcoming as many domestic and international colleagues as possible to the Bükk Region in May!
