My name is Hanna, and I am the new volunteer of the organisation kulturweit from Germany. I will stay in Eger until the end of August this year.
Here are a few facts about me:
I grew up in a small village called Trautmannshofen in Bavaria, which is near the town of Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. The next biggest city is Nuremberg (Maybe you've heard of it).
I turned 23 in February. Together with my parents, I still live in Trautmannshofen. My older brother Lukas lives in Neumarkt.
In my free time, I like being outside, hiking, or riding my bike. I also like to read exciting novels or thrillers and go out with friends on weekends.
After I graduated from secondary school in 2016, I did an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at the local organic brewery "Neumarkter Lammsbrau". Since 2019, I have worked in technical customer service at Thule GmbH in Neumarkt.
Now it was time for a new adventure! Since I had always wanted to work abroad for a while, I took the opportunity and applied for the nature volunteer service at kulturweit. Luckily, I was accepted and offered to do voluntary service in the Bükk Region Geopark in Eger, Hungary. I accepted the offer and am now happy and curious about what experiences this new stage of my life will bring!
