History, value

The Zaboda Stone is a remnant of a lava flood that erupted from the Hegyes Stone Volcano and continued to flow eastward. Part of the lava flow has since been eroded and a miniature plateau has formed on top of the Zaboda stone. The edges of the plateau are formed by steep rock walls and thick basalt columns, some of which slowly separate from the mountain. As a result, a short tunnel and two small fissure caves formed on the northwest side. The height of the rock walls of the Zaboda stone reaches 10 meters.

A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from Ajnácskő to the site.Degree of protection: 5, Natural Monumen
